Australia - The Great Barrier Reef

We are very privileged to have been able to visit this area twice already.

The change in the condition of the reef has been incredible since our first visit in 1992 and our second visit in 2016. We were most dissappointed at what we experienced in 2016.

We have been to Australia on numerous occasions and it never ceases to amaze us. From the outback to the Barrier Reef a truly exciting country.

We first visited Australia in the early 90´s when we spent one month traveling in an RV visiting Central and Eastern Australia including Sydney, Ayers Rock, Darwin and Cairns spending time snorkeling at the Barrier Reef.

Since then we have been back numerous times in 2010, 2011, 2016 and 2017. Our visits have included Sydney, The Blue Mountains, Melbourne, Churchill Island, Perth, the Great Ocean Road and last but not least TASMANIA!

Tasmania and the Great Ocean Road were destinations on our bucket list which we managed to visit during our 2016 World Tour and 2017 World Tour. During both World Tour we had organised 5 of our own overland tours, Australia being one of them on both occassions.

We thoroughly enjoyed both visits. The history and scenery is fascinating.

Australia is once again included on our next tour 2018/2019.
